Omaha, Neb. — (Mar. 17, 2020) — OpsCompass Inc. announced today that it will expand its product portfolio and client support systems with the acquisition of House of Brick Technologies. The move significantly expands the Cloud Security Posture Management (CSPM) leader’s ability to address the growing demand for securely moving critical enterprise workloads to the cloud. OpsCompass recently received funding for this acquisition and additional market expansion.

“It is an honor to bring together House of Brick’s remarkable experience on behalf of clients and our key partner network. For more than 20 years, I have respected the knowledge and skills they provide in support of their enterprise clients around the world,” said OpsCompass CEO, Manny Quevedo. “Their expertise in cloud technology, virtual machine migration, database and systems licensing, and critical workload analysis is unparalleled. More importantly, their recent work in developing powerful new SaaS tools for this market, brings a distinctive competitive advantage to our product roadmap.”

The acquisition was completed in February, and full integration is expected to be complete within 90 days. OpsCompass will add House of Brick’s specialized AWS, VMware, Microsoft, and Oracle SaaS intellectual property to their existing monitoring toolset within six months. The companies collaborated previously on a series of software designs, and expect common product engineering and management to come together very quickly. The acquisition also allows OpsCompass to expand direct CSPM delivery capabilities and enhanced partner support system across the U.S. and western Europe by mid-2020.

“On a rare occasion you discover powerful, strategic symmetry in a relationship that it is simply compelling enough to combine forces to create better, more meaningful solutions for our clients,” added Nathan Biggs, senior vice president and OpsCompass board member.  “My time as CEO of House of Brick was very satisfying, but knowing that we will be delivering world-class SaaS solutions and professional services to clients is exciting, especially for our employees and partners.”

The House of Brick brand will be maintained for the professional and managed services division of OpsCompass, Inc. and all SaaS products will be branded as OpsCompass capabilities. Nathan Biggs will continue to lead the House of Brick team as senior vice president of the division, as well as assuming other strategic roles for the combined company.
