OMAHA, Neb., (April 10, 2015) — House of Brick Technologies, the leader in the virtualization and Cloud Computing for business critical systems, announced today that members of their team will lead a pre-conference Oracle licensing workshop and a DBaaS focused session at IOUG Collaborate 2015 in Las Vegas.
“Databases in the Cloud – How Oracle Virtualization and Automated Provisioning Enable True DBaaS,” a part of Collaborate’s Cloud Computing track, will be led by Jeff Stonacek and Jim Hannan, Principal Architects at House of Brick. In this session, the presenters will share best practices and success stories around automating the provisioning and deployment of fully customized, complex application environments based on Oracle core technology.
Dave Welch, House of Brick CTO and a top authority on Oracle on VMware licensing will lead an Oracle Virtualization and Licensing Bootcamp along with John McAbel, Senior Product Manager, Oracle Solutions, at Cisco Systems. The workshop is an intense and fast moving session offering insights regarding the best way for companies to execute their Oracle virtualization and licensing optimization efforts.
“There is a lot of fear, uncertainty and doubt surrounding Oracle licensing practices,” said Dave Welch, CTO and Chief Evangelist. “In our bootcamp, we cut through all that noise and present the facts about Oracle on VMware licensing and give attendees a better understanding of the strategies for optimizing their Oracle licenses.”
